Mmmusic.

So this is what I’ve been listening to this semester as I navigate through 3 research projects.

“All For The Best” -Thom Yorke

The song is part of a Mark Mulcahy cover cd which was released to raise money for Mark whose wife recently passed.  They have 3 year old twin girls.  I love the added percussion that comes in before the awesome guitar tones.  Thom’s younger brother Andy sings harmonies.

Hello internet people!

It’s been awhile since we’ve last given an update, and much has been happening with The Dialogue.  First, we’d like to thank everyone who helped make our Summer East Coast Tour a huge success.  It was truly an incredible and inspiring experience for us and we can’t wait to head back out on the road.  Since then we’ve been playing a few one-offs, including an awesome show with As Tall As Lions last week at Jammin Java in Vienna, VA.  The northern VA response has been great, and the venue keeps asking us back…check the tour dates!!

We also have 2 big shows at one of the best venues in Baltimore this October.  Lights from Canada just invited us to play their Sonar show on Saturday, October 3!  The band recently won a Juno Award (Canada’s equivalent to a Grammy) for Best New Artist.  We return to play our first show on Sonar’s Main Stage on Thursday, October 29 for ChangeUpMag’s ChangeUp Fest.  Check the killer lineup and info on both shows here!

Oh yeah….we are recording our second record!!!!

We could not be more excited to announce that we are working with Matt Thomas.  Matt currently plays bass in The Everlove and honed his craft as producer/bassist of Adelphi.  We are recording 6 new songs and have been discussing how we would like to release it.  This we know for sure….you will get most of the songs for FREE and there will be a huge CD Release Show this Fall!  We also looking forward to taking the material on the road later this year!

That is all for now.  It has been quite an incredible year for us thus far and we can’t wait for everyone to hear how we’ve progressed.  Stay tuned for new videos and tour dates!  For now, check out these pics and pass this link on to a friend.  Cheers!!
